What’s on your workdesk…number two

on June 26, 2013

Happy Wednesday everyone šŸ™‚ Today is my day off so I spent some shopping time with my Mum and she decided to splash out on one of those new Actifry things. They’re like a fryer but you only use a spoonful of oil. Its plugged in and frying chips as I type so can’t wait to see how they turn out. I also picked up a copy of the new Quick Cards magazine because they have some adorable free stamps that I couldn’t resist. I bet you can’t guess what I will be using tomorrow šŸ˜‰

Right now I am catching up on Emmerdale, eating fruit pastilles, putting new books on my Mums early birthday present, a Nook ereader, and typing this post. ALL at the same time! Proof that us ladies are great at multi tasking haha!

Anyway, its that time again šŸ™‚ The day we get to nosey around each others crafting work spaces and see what they are up to. If you don’t know what I am talking about then head over to http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/ and read all about it.

My desk is actually quite tidy this week. I had a sort out so that I can play with some new stamps I got with a magazine so out came the ink pad, acrylic block and my lovely promarkers.IMG_3705

And a quick close up of two of the pretty Elizabeth Bell stamps…

Now I just need to make cards with them šŸ™‚ Happy Wednesday everyone x

  1. Your desk is amazingly neat and tidy – unlike mine!! Have fun with all the new goodies – don’t you just love it when magazines give great gifts?!

  2. Your colouring techique is beauiful! I always find that layering and making the card to be difficult too! Good luck with yours! Mmmm! Fruit pastilles…haven’t had those in years…they don’t sell them here in France! Happy WOYWW! #70

I do like a magazine with a good free gift!! Your space looks nice and tidy and I’m very impressed with the multi tasking. I use my ipad as an e-reader and we have a free rental service through the library. Been using it for 6 months and it’s great! Usual thing has happened though – they have upgraded the software so it has more features (what exactly more do you need from an e book than words on a page?) and guess what, now it doesn’t work. I have complained loudly but it seems I have to change all sorts of things that I don’t want to change so that it is compatible. And if I do figure out how to make all these changes it will probably make something else not work. Progress? I think not. Grrrrrrr. Thanks for stopping by to see me! Cindy
